I'll start by saying I like the variety of poses here, a lot of stuff I probably will end up using for references for my own painting. ...

1) Your use of canvas makes for an really cool texture on the piece. As in the previous critique, I would also agree that a varied line...

Once again, I've been ignoring this...
I've been extremely busy trying to get my new business of the ground. is doing better than expected with two books published, and more on the way. I've got a lot of stuff yet to do, but I'm burining out of just doing tutorials on coding.

So I'm taking a week off from tutorial about iOS coding and going to paint and draw instead.

There may be a book in there though... stay tuned.

Make App Pie

Journal Entry: Wed Jan 14, 2015, 8:50 AM
It's been almost 9 months since I did anything here. The biggest reason for that is my website, and the last app i Developed slippyFlippyPenguin.

SlippyFlippy was an app based on flappy bird, one of many clones out there. Like a clone, it did poorly sales wise. So I decided to try some content marketing.

I started with a tutorial onm SLippyFlippyPenguin. Thenm I got my first Raspberry Pi, and started writing about that. I was well into writing about Rasberry pis when the Apple Word Wide Developer Conference came about last June.

There are two kinds of people who walked out of the WWDC keynote. The ones who thought this was nothing special and Apple lost its mojo were the press. The ones part terrified and part excited were real developers. Apple Dropped a major bomb att WWDC in the Swift programming language. While othere were specualting what swift meant for Apple. I got onit and started writing a series of transition guides between Objective-C and Swift. THye have gotten very popular. I'm still ati since JUne, while trying to finish A book on the subject as well, whiihc meant not a lot fo the steps necessary to post to DA, because I'm too busy working.

Think I'm going to change some of that this year. The new DA app and staying in the digital realm in stead of watercolr makes it easier to post directly from myipad. I also have a lot of graphics I'm designing for the website wich I'll start re-posting here, and might be useful to some poeple.

Of these two color wheels which one do you like the colors the most

Thank you. I think. In what way do you find it interesting?

Interesting since, I find it pretty idiosyncratic. I'm lost for words now, I'm sorry. XD But that really was my first impression of your style.

It's not surprising. I have to paint differently -- I'm color blind.
